While there is no shortage of wine tasting experiences in the Cape, it’s rare for them to include wildlife. But at Saxenburg in Stellies, you can sip on a Sauvignon Blanc surrounded by springbok and a variety of game.
The tasting includes six whites and six reds, panoramic views, a variety of free-roaming game and a backdrop of Table Mountain – ticking all the boxes we’d say. Tastings are conducted on a raised platform (so you’re perfectly safe) and are accompanied by snack platters of biltong, crackers and nuts.
