The oldest animal welfare organisation in the country, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) was founded by the Cape of Good Hope SPCA in 1872. Since then this non-profit organisation has helped thousands of furry friends find home and continue to do so now.
Here are some adorable and lovable fluff balls who are in need of a home and could be your new best friend:
Yuki
A young and energetic adult male Husky who is an active and bouncy boy, and enjoys giving and getting love.
Yuki is not a fan of cats and not suitable for young children but is perfectly suited to a young couple or single person with a busy life in need of a running partner.
He is an attractive and unique little furry friend with his rare Heterochromia Iridum, making his eyes different colors.
Bella
Bella is a female Basset +-two-years-old. She is well socialised and friendly. She often barks at cats but is great with kids.
She has a warm and soft coat of fur that makes for the perfect cuddle partner.
Jessica
Jessica is a young adult female Pittie mixed breed. She is well socialised and a lovely girl with lots of love to give.
Best for those who know the breed and have a lot of energy to share.
Sadie
A cheerful and chipper two-year-old female Labrador. She has loads of energy to share and is a happy little soul. Her favourite things include leisurely walks and tummy rubs.
She is still in need of some training and is unsuited for homes with toddlers or cats.
Boris
Boris is a young adult male Terrier mixed breed. He is very small and active, and may be in need of more training and possibly a female dog to keep him company.
He is not suited to homes with cats or toddlers, but is a perfect lap dog who will enjoy being part of your movie-binging weekends.
