While most are worrying about just how much longer we can cope with the Janu-Worry blues, one unknowingly lucky Capetonian is struggling along with the rest of us, unaware that he or she is now a multi-millionaire.
If you are a Lotto player and used a Quick Pick selection at the Shoprite Checkers in Sanlam Centre, Parow, you have until 13 February to claim your winnings. “R28-million is a life-changing amount of money. We hope that the player will respond to our efforts in trying to find him or her as we are ready to assist,” Ithuba spokesperson Busisiwe Koloi said to TimesLIVE.
“Should the ticket expire, the money will be donated to the National Lotteries Distribution Trust Fund to be used for charity,” Ithuba said.
Winners who have not yet claimed their prizes must contact the lottery offices on 0800 484 822.
