7. Hike up Lion’s Head – at night
It goes without saying that Cape Town is just as spectacular at night as it is in the day. One of the best ways to appreciate this and get some quality time with your partner is to do a Full Moon hike up Lion’s Head. The evening climb takes about one hour and the reward is a spectacular view of the city centre, the Atlantic Seaboard, Robben Island and Blouberg. Pack plenty of water, comfortable shoes and something warm. You may want to stay up there for a while.
