Asoka is located on Kloof Street, one of the Mother City’s most popular streets for after-work drinks and great dinner spots. This restaurant offers diners a delicious three-course meal for R195. While some dishes change, you can expect wonderfully flavourful meals that won’t disappoint.

2. The Village Idiot

This Loop Street spot is popular for its laid-back atmosphere and hearty meals. For just R300, you can have two main meals along with a bottle of wine or a litre of beer.

3. Harrington’s

This beautiful bar and restaurant is now a far cry from its days as the grungy club “The Assembly”.
