Canto Wines

Rolling hills and mountain views make Canto Wines the perfect mid-afternoon (or early morning, who’s judging) tasting. Grab a glass of their famous Chardonnay or Merlot while you nibble on their cheese and cold meats selections.

Spend the day finding balance through various yogi poses as you enjoy their monthly yoga class that’s followed by a refreshing glass of MCC and a delicious macaroon – talk about balance!

Diemersdal Wine Farm

If spending your day admiring beautiful vineyards, tasting robust wines, and devouring flavourful dishes are what you’re after, then visiting Diemersdal is a must. They boast a rich history, with six generations of winemakers at the helm of this well-known Durbanville landmark.

While they certainly know what they’re doing when it comes to their wines, it’s their food that’s really out of this world. From juicy rib-eye to crispy fried squid, everything is cooked to perfection.

All their food is also locally grown and regionally sourced.

Altydegedacht Estate

Thought to be one of the oldest wine farms in the Durbanville wine valley, this boutique wine estate is brimming with history and delicious wines. Enjoy your time by sampling their selection of wines before strolling the grounds of this historic farm while enjoying a delicious platter.

Nitida

If you’re looking for a casual spot to enjoy lunch and a glass of wine, Nitida should be your first stop. Living up to their slogan “handmade is an attitude”, this small wine farm offers award-wining wines bursting with flavour.

The tasting rooms and restaurant overlook a small dam, providing patrons with perfect views, including that of the valley, which can be enjoyed over a glass of their famous Sauvignon Blanc and prosciutto salad.
