Non-organised events:

If you’re not one for large groups, why not plan your own mission with a few friends? Sometimes the best place to see the moon is on the beach. Grab a few friends and head out to your favourite beach like Clifton Fourth or Camps Bay beach and pack a picnic blanket and basket to camp out under the stars. This is a great bonding experience, and also allows you to reflect on the upcoming decade in peace.

You could also take a drive and park along Boyes Drive or Tafelberg Road for a beautiful spot to watch the supermoon. Pack some snacks, a blanket and head out with that special someone to enjoy this meaningful experience.
