#HighburyHearsYou – At Cape Town Etc, we are passionate about getting local restaurants back and booming in business. As part of our #HighburyHearsYou initiative, we’re dishing out the deets on some incredible restaurants in and around town.
One of the many reasons why we love living in Cape Town is because we’re surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful scenery! And although winter calls for staying indoors with a warm beverage, what’s a meal without a view, right?
So if you’re feeling adventurous, and would love to spice up your Saturday routine, then you’ll enjoy visiting these three amazing restaurants with a breath-taking sea view!
Harbour House (Kalk Bay)
Harbour House in Kalk Bay is an absolute stunner, and we can see why! It’s established as one of Cape Town’s hotspots, boasting the most amazing views of the harbour and uninterrupted sea views. This location is bound to take your breath away, and have you feeling in your zen with the sounds of crashing waves on the shoreline.
Harbour House is certainly one of the best restaurants in Cape Town, so if you’re in the mood for seafood, this is the place to be. From mussels and prawns, to seafood platters, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Harvey’s at Winchester
Harvey’s is located in Winchester Mansions, and is known for being a favourite sundowner spot where guests can have a front seat to the most remarkable views of Sea Point beach. If you’re ever looking for a new place to visit that offers a European-inspired menu with an African flair, then Harvey’s Restaurant is perfect for you. But all good things take time and while Harvey’s is currently closed for renovations to enhance the overall look and feel of the hotel, they are excited for when they will reopen to give customers a wonderful experience.
