This Cape Town institution has Africa’s Biggest beer variety under one roof. They boast a massive 20 taps and 99 bottles of premium, world-class beer. Plus, if you’re not keen to mission to the CBD, they have also opened a branch in Bellville!

This small-batch gin distillery is the perfect place for gin connoisseurs to experience something to satisfy even the most snobbish tastebuds.

Woodstock Gin Company

Infused with truly South African fynbos, this gin is off the wall. “We take the essence of this place, distill it down to its core and share it with the world,” the distillery claims on the website.

Visit the Boland for a reason other than wine this time. Here, you can even go on a guided tour to learn more about the fascinating process. You can watch the resident cooper practise barrel-making and see how brandy is distilled in a 19th century Cognac potstill. Then treat yourself to a taste of pure class.
