They say that when you love someone, their heartbeat can sound better than your favourite song, and the Kiffness has definitely lovingly intertwined the two concepts.
The Kiffness, A.K.A the accomplice of Alugalung cat in their musical musing, and the master behind ‘Where’s my iPad in ode to Cyril Ramaphosa’s iPad’s era of lostness, has taken his musical musing to yet another, softer world – that of his and wife Jute Scott’s unborn child.
David Scott heard the little Kiffness’ heartbeat and thought it sounded techno-esque. Being the artist and person he is, along with his wife, he decided to transform the heartbeat into music.
Regarding the news of their little one, Scott wrote:
“Exciting news, we’re going to be parents! During a recent scan, I thought our child’s heartbeat sounded a bit like a techno tune, so naturally my wife & I took the opportunity to make a song with our little baby who is due January 2022! We can’t wait to meet him/her.”
The song is equipt with tones that can be described as upbeat, funky and full of fun, which is likely what having the Kiffness and Jute as parents might be like.
