After a weekend of bountiful rain locals will be happy to know Cape Town’s water storage levels have increased significantly, pushing the overall storage level close to 50% again.
As of today June 10, Cape Town’s overall dam storage stands at 48%.
The much-needed rainy days are not about to disappear, with forecasts predicting more rain from as soon as Wednesday this week.
As we look forward to more rain in the Mother City, there is much hope that the next downpour will finally push dam storage levels above 50%.
The outlook for the rainy season as well as the city’s dam levels is positive; this time last year the overall dam storage stood at only 31.4%.
