After receiving an abundance of much-needed rain in one day on Friday, Cape Town will be warming up once again.

On Friday, October 26, torrential downpours hit the Mother City causing major flooding and damage in certain areas. One man took to his SUP board to showcase how bad the flooding in his neighbourhood was.

This week the weather will warm up again, illustrating the Mother City’s ability to deliver four seasons in a few days.

As of October 25, the dam levels are currently at 79.5%.

Capetonians should still be using water sparingly. As we edge closer to the sweltering summer months, we should aim to save as much of this precious resource as possible.
