As Cape Town is entering into the sweltering summer months, rainfall becomes a scarce commodity. According to the South African Weather Services however, rain is predicted to grace the Mother City on Saturday December 14.

The entire week will see temperatures reaching the high twenties, with Saturday offering a break from the heat.

According to SAWS there is a 60% chance of rainfall on Saturday for the Mother City. The temperature is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 13°C. The predicted rainfall amount is 5mm.

Following a week of warm weather, the rain will provide Capetonians with some much-needed relief.
