#HighburyHearsYou – we at Cape Town Etc are passionate about getting local restaurants back and booming in business. As part of our #HighburyHearsYou initiative, we’re dishing out the deets on some incredible restaurants in and around town.
Pizza, who doesn’t love it? A dough base with any topping of your choice. If you are looking for a lovely pizzeria to satisfy your tastebuds this evening, no stress, Cape Town Etc’s, Leigh-Ann Londt has you covered.
Col’Cacchio (Camps Bay):
This restaurant has many branches in various locations: Belvedere, Waterfront, Canal walk and more, offering both a Halaal menu for certain branches and a classic menu. From a pizza bread with feta and onion to a beef carpaccio with rocket, Italian parmesan, black pepper and home-made dressing, you really do not want to miss out.
Bella Italia (Sea Point):
Bella Italia offers pizza and pasta specials Monday to Wednesdays, all day. Not even load shedding stops this amazing restaurant from running. Try a California Pizza with feta, avo and bacon or a Mamma Meatballs pasta with a diving bolognese sauce and meatballs.
Pizzeria Villaggio (Howard Centre, Logan Way, Cape Town):
Another restaurant that does not allow load shedding to stop them from making some delicious pizza. This pizzeria not only does pizza and pasta but homemade hearty meals too. A hot chorizo with chopped jalapenos and chopped chilli? Spaghetti bolognese? What about a lovely beef lasagne with a salad? One just cannot choose, they all sound so phenomenal.
Ciao Pizza (Long St, Cape Town):
Come and experience some yummy Neapolitan pizza’s, along with an incredible gourmet milkshake. They offer a lovely chicken special featuring roast chicken, red onion, coriander with a margherita base or a mouth-watering salami special with cured salami and portabella mushrooms with margherita base or even try one of their calzones in a Mediterranean style with pepperoni or a salsiccia with ground beef sausage.
