Join former finance minister Pravin Gordhan and civil society for a memorial service honouring the late leader Ahmed Kathrada, supported by the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation. The gathering will pay respect to the struggle veteran as well as provide an opportunity for civil society and the residents of Cape Town to organise and adopt a program of mass action against President Jacob Zuma.
Kathrada was incarcerated alongside former President Nelson Mandela on Robben Island and later became a citizen of Cape Town with his wife, struggle veteran Barbara Hogan.
