These Summer Sessions, presented by Mercedes-Benz, will be taking place every Saturday, starting on the 2nd and ending on the 30th. All of the shows start at 7pm, with the exception of March 23, which starts at 6.30pm.

The first of the shows kicks off on Saturday March 2. Musician, Peter Ndlala, will be entertaining the crowd with a combination of afro-jazz at the amphitheatre. Peter started his musical journey with the Music Action for People’s Progress jazz ensemble and performed at the Guinness Jazz Festival in 1992.
On March 9, the venue will host The River Band. Formed in 2012, this Cape Town band will get the chance to exhibit their passion for storytelling through music and lyrics.
The following Saturday, March 16, the Milton Academy from the USA will grace the V&A Waterfront’s Amphitheatre stage. The popular jazz group is comprised of over 75 students in eight different jazz categories.
On the weekend of the 23rd, Mae Sithole Band will be firing up the stage with their catchy assortment of pop, jazz, soul and funk for everyone to enjoy at the V&A Waterfront. Opening for Mae Sithole is 16-year old opera singer, Bianca Solomons, from Kraaifontein. She will perform from 6.30pm to 6.50pm.
The final Saturday, the 30th, will host classically trained singer and songwriter, Marcé Underwood. The Cape Town born opera and jazz singer started her musical journey at 17 and has captivated audiences ever since.
