MOVEMENT IN 3, presented by Cape Town’s prestigious youth ballet company, Cape Junior Ballet, is coming to Artscape on Tuesday 13 June for an exciting production and a one time only performance.
The production features choreographies by three leading international and national choreographers namely, Huber Essakow, Kirsten Isenberg and Brigitte Taylor-Reeve. The production is a showcase of dance entertainment and will have ballet dancers performing three genres of dance: classical ballet, neo-classical and contemporary dance.
The choreographies include “Malevich Moves”, a new innovative neo-classical work choreographed by Hubert Essakow; “Uprising’, a newly adapted version of a neo-classical work choreographed by Kirsten Isenberg in 2016; “Waltz of the Flowers”, a classical favourite from the Nutcracker and many more contemporary choreographies.
