Winter can be cold, dark and wet – but it can also be plenty of fun for children. Wrapped up warm with their wellies on, children generally enjoy splashing about in puddles or trampling through the mud. Nature in winter is beautiful with changing colours, bare trees and soft light.

Drawing inspiration from winter and the nature-themed artworks of the Home Is Where the Art Is exhibition at Zeitz MOCAA, the Winter Printmaking Family Learning Workshop offers parents and their children an opportunity to play, explore and develop their engagement with art, together, by creating their own prints using different methods, materials and equipment.
