The first ever Mindful Drinking Festival is aiming to prove that you don’t always have to drink to have a good time. The festival, held on October 20 at Kirstenbosch Stone Cottages, will be an alcohol-free festival to promote sobriety.
Festival-goers can enjoy samples of some of the best alcohol-free products on the South African market. Sip on wine, beer, bubbly, traditional spirits and kombucha without the fear of a hangover. There will be a blind tasting competition as well as free presentations teaching the technology behind these alcohol-free drinks. A wide array of healthy food stalls, including vegetarian and vegan options, will be available.
Nik Rabinowits will be emceeing the event, and Zolani Mahola of Freshlyground will be entertaining the crowd.
Tickets cost R100 and are available on Quicket.
