Take part in International Coastal Clean up day on 15 September with the Sea Shepherd Blouberg Beach clean up.
Take care of our local beaches as you clean up the beautiful coastal environment.
This event is hosted by the non-profit organisation, Sea Shepherd South Africa who prides themselves on the principles of, defend, conserve and protect our marine wildlife and environment.
Bags and gloves will be provided and volunteers are reminded to bring along their hats, sunscreen and water bottles for the morning.
The meeting point for the event will be in front of the Big Bay Life Saving Club.
It is an event that is bound to create new friendships with fellow volunteers and makes a positive impact on the environment.
Plastic and other waste materials drift into the ocean waters, causing harm to the aquatic life but this event will allow attendees to do their part in ensuring a clean beach and marine environment for all.
