Celebrate spring on the banks of the Breede River in the Robertson Wine Valley at the Wine on The River festival this October.

Wine on The River helps locals and visitors usher in the new season with a celebratory glass of wine in hand and this year the festival, hosted by Jon Meinking and Wanda Cronje, promises to offer more than ever before.

Taste all the wines in the valley, enjoy various artisan offerings, unique wine estate tours, live entertainment and more.

Full weekend passes and daily tickets ranging from R150-R750 with free entrance for under 18’s.

VIP ticket holders will enjoy a host o special features. Some of these include reserved shaded seating, VIP parking and refreshments, a food and wine session and one wine tasting. VIP tickets are R750 per person.

The 2 hour trip out to Robertson Wine Valley was worth the pins and needles when we arrived at the scenic Breede River. A sunny day and blue skies set the ideal scene for wine tasting at the 12th annual Wine on the River Festival.

Goudmyn Farm came alive with acclaimed winemakers and local chefs and producers. The open-air spring festival boasts over 30 different wineries to taste and experience the valley’s finest wines.
