Hazendal Wine Estate’s hit Jazz Club is delighted to welcome South African jazz guitarist, Alvin Dyers, and his quartet to the stage.
The quartet features Byron Abrahams, one of the most exciting young saxophonists in South Africa, with Valentino Europa on bass and Roy Davids on drum kit. This quartet has played together for many years, performing classic jazz standards, South African jazz and original compositions with a uniquely Capetonian sound that blends elements of Latin music, Cape Goema, African music and straight-ahead jazz.
All guests are invited to the luxurious Wine Tasting Lounge before the show to enjoy a wine tasting, a glass of wine or one of Hazendal’s signature cocktails. Their premium, award-winning wines will also be on sale to our wine loving guests. The Zakuski Russian-inspired tapas-style menu will be available during the course of the show.
