Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA) is pleased to announce that entries are now open for our 51st fundraising event, the Blisters for Bread Charity Family Fun Walk in association with Lucky Star.
Taking place on August 25, 2019. The event will include two routes along the Sea Point Promenade, a 10km walk that starts at 7:30am and a 5km walk that starts at 8am.
They are also extremely delighted to announce that three of South Africa’s top pop sensations, Paxton Fielies, Jarrad Ricketts (courtesy of Heart FM) and Johnny Apple will be performing live at the finish line. A host of food and refreshment stores will be available for everyone’s enjoyment. There will also be lots of prizes up for grabs!
An event for the whole family. Blisters for Bread has always been renowned for being a real family affair and on this note, they are happy to announce that this year, t-shirts will also be on sale for children. The colour of the t-shirts are Navy blue and can only be purchased online while entering the event at the cost of R100 per t-shirt for adults and children. There will also be a special entertainment area for children on the day.
Walk to end hunger. They call everyone to join to unite against childhood hunger by entering this event at the cost of only R60 per person. Each entry fee will enable PSFA to provide 24 school children effected by poverty with a nutritious cooked breakfast and lunch for an entire day! Entries are limited to 13 000 people.
