Two security guards were reportedly shot and killed on Sunday while escorting a bakery truck in Langa.
According to a Daily Voice report, the truck was delivering bread when unknown suspects shot and killed the guards before stealing their firearms.
The guards were aged 30 and 37.
A resident said she heard gunshots and when it was quite, she went to the scene and found the two deceased hanging out by their car.
Last year, another security guard was also shot and killed while escorting a delivery truck in Browns Farm in Philippi.
EWN reported at the time that the attackers fled with his firearm.
