Cape Town is known for its picturesque views and cool, ocean-side breezes, but sometimes this breeze transforms into a gale-force wind that will leave you clinging to light poles to ensure you’re not blown away.
According to Wind Report, some areas of the Cape can expect winds of at least 20 knots per hour, which when converted, equates to at 37.04km per hour.
The South African Weather Service also stipulates that the Cape can expect gale-force winds of 50 km per hour.
