Breaking news coming in from Day 9 of the Van Breda trial.
The current witness in the stand, domestic worker Ms Ndongane (spelling to be confirmed), who worked at the Van Breda residence up until January 2015, has just identified the murder weapon as being the axe which was in the home’s scullery where she usually collected the ironing board.
Ms Ndongane has also identified the knife, the same one which was allegedly used to injure Henri, as being part of a set of knives which were stored in a drawer in the kitchen.
