Cape Town dam levels have increased by 1.2% over the last week and currently stand at 69.8%, the City of Cape Town says.
In a tweet, the City said: “The total capacity of dams supplying the Cape Town metro increased slightly by 1.2% in the last week, from 68.6% the previous week to 69.8%.”

At the same time last year, dam levels were at 53.6%.
The City urged residents to use water wisely in order to maintain dam levels in the province.
