So an embarrassing video emerged this week, displaying what could be one of the dumbest accidents ever filmed in Cape Town.
The video takes place at Imam Haron road, Claremont and follows the passengers of two cars seemingly teasing each other, until one driver goes over the top and attempts to speed past the other car – losing control and then totalling into a pole.
SA Dash Cam Adventures posted this on Tuesday and has racked up nearly a thousand more views since I watched it this morning. The timestamp of the video indicates that this all took place on Monday night.

In defense of whoever the driver with the dashcam was, the clip stops literally less than 100m from the Claremont SAPS station so they might have stopped there. The bad driving on that stretch is truly something to behold though!

I hope this is shared with the police and this person looses their license with a fine. Because of their foolishness, they nearly had a head on crash with an innocent motorist. Truely juvenile and I hope it is shared far and wide to stop this sort of thing.
