Tempers have flared and patience has boiled over tonight as a train at Cape Town Station has been set alight.
Commuters, fed up by an unreliable Metrorail service and faced with lengthy delays, began a riot earlier which resulted in two trains being set ablaze. Smoke could be seen billowing out of the station as a growing crowd took to the streets to demonstrate their frustration.
