For those of you who don’t know him, Casey Neistat is one of the world’s top YouTube personalities and vloggers. He’s made several short films and has collaborated on a TV series with his brother, as well as co-creating the video messaging application Beme’. In addition to all this, Casey had a daily YouTube vlog that ran from March 2015 to November 2016. Since cancelling it permanently, he’s been focusing more on creating short films, also for YouTube. And one very recent video features a very special guest: Cape Town.

Published in early January, the video shows Casey, his wife Candice, and his children Owen and Francine on a trip around the Mother City. They climb mountains, take a boat out to sea and score a great set of wheels to make their journey that much cooler. Check it all out here:

It’s awesome when the city you live in and love gets some airplay on a popular platform. And since it’s gained over two and a half million views, we’re pretty sure we’ll be seeing more and more international visitors exploring (and hopefully documenting) Cape Town’s myriad wonders.

I like him, but he’s a bad sport when it comes to interacting with LH.
