A video has emerged, originally posted by Armand Hough, of a Checkers truck being looted in Bishops Lavis, Cape Town earlier today, April 20.
In the video a number of people can be seen gathering around the back of the delivery truck as individuals inside frantically handout goods before rushing off.
Police can also be seen along the side the road, although there is no indication that they intervened in any way.

This comes after western cape Premier Alan Winde announced Cape Town had suffered its 17th COVID-19 death.
