Eskom has just announced that the stage 2 rotational load shedding Cape Town has been experiencing since this morning will move up to Stage 4 from 2pm today.
In a statement, Eskom said that they lost additional generation units this morning and as units have not returned to service as scheduled, they have to implement stage 4 load shedding. The load shedding is expected to last until 6am Saturday morning, December 7.
