Celebrated publisher Jonathan Ball has reportedly died of cancer in Cape Town. He was 69.
According to News24, he was surrounded by his children when he died just after 15:00 on Saturday.
The report said that chief executive of Jonathan Ball Publishers, Eugene Ashton confirmed Ball’s death.
Ball established the publishing house carrying his name in 1976.
