A fire has broken out near the quarry on Signal Hill on Thursday, November 26.
“Smoke along Signal Hill, Cape Town. The City’s fire fighting crew is still trying to contain the vegetation fire,” a resident tweeted.

The City’s Fire Department and Table Mountain National Park are on the scene. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to keep roads in the area clear.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
