Motorists are warned to steer clear of Kloof Road as a mountain fire is currently raging on the mountain slopes above Camps Bay.
The fire has been reported and all relevant agencies are currently on the scene to help contain the blaze.
Kloof Road is closed in both directions between Camps Bay Drive and Lower Kloof Rd as a result.

Table Mountain National Park Manager Philip Prins reports that the fire is now 80% contained and a third Huey Helicopter contracted through Working on Fire has been dispatched to assist more than 80 ground crew memebers with further fire suppression efforts.
Mountain Safety has requested that all hikers move off Lions Head.
