The 12 Apostles fire is raging again and helicopters have arrived to water bomb the area. Several flare ups have been reported but have been contained since the fire spread last night. Firefighters worked tirelessly through the night to try and manage the fire. Strong winds fanned the flames and the 12 Apostles Hotel were forced to evacuate the premises last night. The fire spread around the hotel and towards Oudekraal wreaking havoc.
Victoria Drive was closed between Camps Bay and Hout Bay, but has now been reopen. Drivers and residents in the area are requested to remain cautious as the fire is still being managed.
