A fire has broken out in the Noordhoek wetlands area. Residents have been urged to keep doors and windows closed, as well as to be aware of embers that can cause spot fires in gardens.
According to a tweet made by Table Mountain National Park, firefighters and members of Working on Fire’s aerial support are on the scene.
Horse riders are urged to avoid the area, specifically the track from Dorcas and Stewards Property.
According to Cape Talk, two helicopters have been sent to water bomb the blaze.
