The Milnerton Crime Prevention Unit uncovered a massive drug trade operation in Milnerton, where drugs to the value of R1-million were confiscated.

Operating on a tip off about a vehicle that was transporting drugs, police spotted a white Ford driving in Koeberg Road.

The vehicle was pulled over by members of the Milnerton Crime Prevention Unit who searched the vehicle and discovered cocaine and mandrax.

After further investigation, a large quantity of cocaine and an undisclosed amount of money were also confiscated from the suspect’s premises. The estimated value for the drugs is R1-million.

A 29-year-old man has been arrested for dealing in drugs. Once charged, the suspect will appear in the Cape Town Magistrate Court on the mentioned charges.
