It’s a fact that Cape Town is the top tourist destination in Africa, and as locals, we simply love it when the city gets any international recognition.
The New York Times recently published an incredible article and video compilation of what to do in the Mother City if you’ve only got 36 hours. Lauding Cape Town as one of the world’s most beautiful cities, their must-see itinerary includes traditional tourist attractions, such as Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront, but also lesser known spots, such as some of the city’s hidden away coffee haunts and souvenir shops.
It’s a well-edited piece that really makes us feel fortunate to live in Cape Town, and makes us proud to be part of this thriving global city. Check out the New York Times video below:
