The price of fuel has been up in the air, as there have been several predictions as to what it will be come March. The Department of Energy has published the latest fuel prices, which will come into effect later this week.

As of Wednesday, March 4, motorists will pay 19cents less per litre of fuel, and the price of diesel will drop by 54cents per litre.

While new environmental and fuel levies were announced during the 2020 Budget Speech, the price drop has been attributed to lowering cost of fuel internationally. The coronavirus pandemic has also been flagged as one of the main causes of a drop in fuel.
