The Animal Welfare Society of SA and Starke Ayres Garden Centre in Rosebank had a second adoption day on Saturday, July 10. The adoption day turned out to be a huge success as half a dozen puppies were taken along to the meet and greet, and each one of them found a wonderful, forever home.
The Animal Welfare Society of SA’s stand attracted a lot of attention. Thanks to an awesome team and some adorable puppies, it was heartwarming to receive donations from many others who were in no position to adopt.
The next Pet Adoption Day at Starke Ayres will be on Saturday, August 14 from 10am until 3pm where, once again, the shelter hopes to home all puppies brought along with them.
Here are more dates set for adoption days:
- September 11
- October 9
- November 13
- December 11
“We still have a stunning selection of dogs waiting for their forever homes and we invite you to visit us on weekdays between 8am – 12pm or 2pm – 3:30pm and on weekends and public holidays we are open from 8am to 12pm”, says the Animal Welfare Society of SA.
