President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation on Sunday, June 27, at 8pm. The president’s announcement will come as no surprise as the COVID-19 infections increase around the country.

The last time Ramaphosa addressed the nation he moved the country to lockdown level 3 announcing a stricter lockdown. Meanwhile, there are speculations that the President might put the country back on alert level four.

This would mean that the evening curfew will be earlier, no public gatherings, and restrictions around the sale of alcohol.

More to follow.
