The hot weather Cape Town has been experiencing lately has left locals feeling overheated, but we’re in luck because this weekend is predicted to be a rainy one.
Before the cooler weather and rain come in, Friday is predicted to be a particularly hot day with temperatures reaching a high of 29°C.
Saturday has a 80% chance of precipitation with a low of 17°C and a high of 24°C, Sunday has a 40% chance of precipitation with a high of 22°C and a low 17°C.
Locals are not the only ones being affected by the heat as dam levels have continued their downward trend again this week, with collective storage officially dipping below the 60% mark.
Dam levels are at 59.8% as of January 30 2019 with Theewaterskloof dam dipping the lowest at 46.4%.
24°C today, some relief? 24°C Thursday and 29°C on Friday. Shoutout to @ReenvalSA ? #capetown #capetowninfo #capetownsouthafrica #capetownetc #cptweather #cpt #kaap #kaapstad #capetownweather #weatherman
