The chilly mornings and evenings we’ve been experiencing can only mean one thing – The seasons are changing! That means there is a limited amount of time left to enjoy big outdoor activities. That’s why there have been so many events recently that have resulted in road closures. The latest event that will be taking over the streets is the Cape Town Carnival, and I can’t think of a better reason to close the road.

On Saturday, Green Point fan walk will be transformed into magical musical place, filled with incredible floats, dancers and performers parading through the streets. While cars may not drive, carnival-goers will have the freedom to walk the streets from 3 pm and at 6 pm the streets will be closed off in preparation for the floats procession which starts at 7 pm.
