Police in the Western Cape has arrested several suspects involved in various incidents over the weekend. Eight suspects have been arrested after they allegedly robbing a post office in Constantia in Cape Town of an undisclosed amount of cash.

As reported by SABC, Police spokesperson, FC Van Wyk, says the vehicles were spotted in Hout Bay and brought to a stop for purposes of searching. It is alleged the males between the ages of 25 and 32 were arrested with two imitation firearms confiscated and handed in as exhibits.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court on, Monday, May 3. Meanwhile, police have also arrested three men for being in the possession of drugs worth two-point-five-million-rand in Kraaiforntein. It is alleged that 174 mandrax tablets and five bags of tik were seized. The suspects are expected to appear in court soon.
