Six farm workers passed away following an accident on the N1 between Hexriver Pass and Touws River at the Montagu turn off.
A truck that was transporting farm workers overturned as it collided with another truck on the road. Motorists are being advised to approach the scene with care. Services are on scene.
“Six of the occupants, the farm workers died in this case and one of the truck drivers is still trapped,”said Traffic Chief Kenny Africa.
