Stage 2 load shedding will be implemented on Tuesday night, June 8, from 17:00 to 22:00 due to delays in returning generating units.
According to Eskom, it is highly likely that load shedding will continue for the rest of the week due to the constraints placed on the power system.
South Africans are urged to reduce their use of electricity.
Eskom will communicate promptly should there be any changes.
