Residents hoping for an end to load shedding will be disappointed to know that it will continue today and has been shifted to Stage 4.
Eskom says rational load shedding will continue in an effort to build up necessary water reserves in the pump storage scheme, while being the result of an ongoing “shortage of capacity” that put pressure on the power grid after import from Mozambique did not arrive as expected.
Locals will experience Stage 4 load shedding between 8am and 11pm today.
Loadshedding Stage 4 from 08h00 to 23h00 today, 17 March 2019.
