Four suspects were arrested on Friday, July 2, in connection with a house robbery in Silverton in Malmesbury. As reported by SABC, the suspects aged between 25 and 33, held the family at gunpoint before making off with various items and the victim’s car.

Police spokesperson, Andre Traut, indicated that the four men were later arrested in Darling along with the stolen property and an unlicensed firearm. Traut says the men are expected to appear in court on Monday, July 5.

Meanwhile, Western Cape police have launched a manhunt for a group of armed robbers who allegedly robbed a retail store in Zevenwacht, Kuilsrivier on Friday, News 24 reported.
