As the holidays draw closer, we all set time aside to spend with family and friends. However, many who have lost a loved one do not have that privilege. This time of year can be emotional for many.
In light of this, Tygerberg Hospice is hosting an evening of unity and giving, celebration and love that is true to the festive spirit. The Tree of Lights Ceremony will be held at D’aria Winery to commemorate those that have passed away. Come light a candle on November 28 to celebrate the lives of those you lost, and comfort others.
Tygerberg Hospice in Bellville provides comprehensive care for life-limiting and chronically ill individuals and their families through medical treatment. They also provide spiritual, bereavement and emotional support, respect and on-going education to employees and the community.
Attendees are invited to make a donation of R50 per person or more that will help enhance the lives of many others that Tygerberg Hospice takes care of. RSVP at [email protected]
Those who are unable to attend but would still like a candle in memory of a loved one can contact the Hospice to make a donation. (All donations are tax deductible).
